The Above and Beyond event is a tribute to heroism for LAPD officers who risked their lives in the line of service. First, we treated each honoree like a sports icon—larger than life, lit with purpose, and honored with cinematic reverence. Then, we conducted a photoshoot, designed the posters, highlighted their stories of heroism, and posted it for the world to see.

Eight Purple Hearts. Fifteen Medals of Valor. Seven Preservation of Life awards. One officer received both the Purple Heart and the Medal of Valor—a rare and powerful distinction. From restraint under fire to acts of extreme bravery, these were stories that deserved more than applause—they demanded awe. We aimed to elevate the moment and remind audiences: this isn’t just about medals. This is how legends are made.
